Today was a fun day for me! Besides receiving my first Birchbox in the mail I also received my first Ipsy Bag (formerly My Glam). Last month one of my friends linked me to them on my Facebook and I decided to take a look. I was trying to choose between Ipsy and Glossybox and Ipsy came out the winner because it was one that I hadn't heard much about. There is some weird controversy surrounding Ipsy but I'm not sure why. Even with this I wanted to give it a try and press my luck.
Ipsy is another monthly subscription service. This time every month you received a makeup bag filled with samples, and if lucky, full sized products from various brands. I received my bag very quickly after receiving my email that it had been shipped. It arrived in a metalic pink envelope, and inside the bad itself. A lovely black, white and red chevron patterned makeup bag.

I had overall a good experience with Ipsy my first time around and the samples where great!! My favourite being Mirenesse's Lip Bomb. It came in it's full size and in a perfect color for my skin tone. Once further investigation I found out that the full size product cost $39!!!
