Review: Maybelline 24 Hour Color Tattoo by Eyestudio

Funny story; In the morning I headed to CVS to go see the doctor at the clinic there and decided to walk around the store are I waited. And I walked right by these babies as they where putting them on the shelf. I was intrigued to to say the least, so I decided to purchase three colours on a whim.

The Color Tattoo is basically a cream eyeshadow, but it's consistency reminds me of a gel liner. They also remind me a bit of Mac's paint pots. They come in about 10 different colours ranging from neutral browns, taupes, black, to red, green, gold and orange (yes, orange).
At my local CVS they where 6.99 each, and you're paying for .14oz of product. compared to the 17.50 you would pay for .17 oz for a Paint Pot. You do get the ounces more product in the paint pot, but you'd have to pay 10 more dollars for that.

The basic concept of the cream shadows is that they will be last 24 hours without budging or losing it's vibrancy. No offense, but with the bad rap that Maybelline has had with their past cream shadows I was a bit scared to go ahead and purchase them, but I decided to give them a chance.

20 Painted Purple
Unlike in the pictures this is a very vibrant purple with small, and I mean small magenta shimmers.

45 Bold Gold
This is the very first colour that I grabbed, it's perfect for the holidays.
It is a true gold, no yellow tint to it, just gold with light gold shimmer.

 35 Tough as Taupe
This is a light brown, the most neutral colour in the collection. It has no shimmer, no sparkle just a light brown colour. But I will say that the more product you apply the darker the colour gets.

Swatches
Top To Bottom: Tough as Taupe, Bold Gold, Painted Purple
I actually fell asleep with these swatches on and slept for five hours, I thought the colours would be completely gone, but they had only faded a bit.
The swatches below is what they look like after being asleep for five hours and rubbing my arm on my blanket.

Overall these products get a 4 out of 5.
They're very creamy and quite blendable. The colours are quite vibrant and unique to any other cream shadows I've used. I do plan on using these as shadows, bases as well as liners. They are such a versatile product that you can use for so many things.
I do suggest going out and purchasing them if you can find them, I know I'll be getting more.
