Hello Dolls! Last Thursday Glamour Doll Eyes released Limited Edition Easter inspired eyeshadows. Four of which you knew what the colors where and two mystery shadows. The mystery shadows where part of an "Easter egg hunt" GDE had. Random shadows where winners and had a number in the bottom and those won a certain thing. I ordered one of the shadows that I knew what it looked like and I ordered both mystery shadows
-Since the the shadows are limited edition they are of limited quantities. The mystery shadows are sold out but Cake Walk is still on sale with a 15% off discount-
(One of my mystery shadows actually came out a winner, so I decided to censor the number to prevent people from trying to use the picture as their own.)
Packaging:
Each shadow is a full sized jar which are only $6.
Unlike other LE shadows these are packaged the same as regular GDE shadows. Underneath there are stickers labeling them as Easter 2013 shadows as well as the name, ingredients ,and whether or not they're lip safe or vegan.
SHADOWS:
*all shadows swatched dry *
From left to right:
Cake Walk, Hippity Hop, Sugar High
Cake Walk:
This is the only shadow that I actually knew what it looked like before ordering.
Cake Walk is a pastel semi matte lilac. It contain light silver/lilac shimmer.
Hippity Hop:
This is one of two mystery shadows.
Hippity Hop is a beautiful matte seafoam/mint green. This color was hard to swatch as it
did come out a bit chalky and patchy.
Sugar High:
This is the second mystery shadow:
Sugar High is an extremely shimmery lilac bright pink. It contain a heavy dose of silver shimmer making it quite a unique color. This color is incredibly pigmented.
Overall:
Both of the shimmery colors are incredibly pigmented! They where really easy to swatch and true to color. Hippity Hop on the other hand was a bit chalky and I had to build it up to get the true color of the pigment.
Like always I wasn't disappointed by these shadows. Glamour Doll Eyes always does a great job with their Limited Edition shadows and this is no exception!
