FOTD: Bruised Unicorn

Hello Dolls! I totally got set back on this months Glamour Doll Eyes Insider Program look. But somehow I managed to finish my final look a day before the dead line!
I originally planned on doing a nice blown out light purple look, but as you can see it took a completely different turn! It was one of those things where you can see where I was heading, yet you saw where everything went wrong.
I ended up making my eyes looked bruised and sickly, with a little touch of lime green in the center. But oddly enough I fell in love with the outcome.

FOTD: Ravishing Taylor (Featuring Glamour Doll Eyes)

Hello Dolls! Last months craziness ended up not only  putting me behind schedule but also Vanessa, the owner and creator of Glamour Doll Eyes. Her schedule ended up so crazy and chaotic that she put the Insider Program on hold and gave us a month long break from creating looks. It was a nice break last month since everything was so hectic, for what appears to have been a lot of people,  but once I received this months package I was so ready to dive right in and create new looks using all Glamour Doll Eyes pigments!

I ended up doing a look with what have been my go to colors lately, red and burnt orange. Only this time I ended up glitzing and smoking it up with a metallic red all over the eyelid and some black pigment!!

FOTD: Hay Foxxie

Hello Dolls!! What two looks in a row in less than a week?! Whhaaat?!
It's been a while since I got to play with makeup as much as I have been these past couple of days! About four days ago I received Glamour Doll Eyes new Instagram collection in the mail and fell in love with the colors!
I decided to go with a different color combination than I normally would use. I used burnt orange, and burgundy colors in the crease and lower lash line and a bright cyan blue all over the eyelid!

Review and Swatches: Rimmel Long Lasting Finish Matte Lipstick by Kate Moss

Hello Dolls!
Today I bring you a review for a new lipstick that was released recently from Rimmel. Rimmel and Kate Moss partnered up again and released ten new shades of matte lipsticks. I finally found them in stock at a local WalMart and decided to pick up three to review for you guys!

Packaging:
Unlike the common black or purple packaging of Rimmel London lipsticks the new Matte lipsticks come in  cherry red colored tube with Kate Moss' signature inscribed on the side of the lid. Besides that there is not much variation in the packaging. On the top of the lid the Rimmel logo is stamped and on the bottom there is a sticker that contains the specific lipstick shade number as well as Rimmel London's manufacturing or distribution address, im not quite sure which.

FOTD: Tropical Sunrise

Hello Dolls!!! I bring you today the first of four looks using all Glamour Doll Eyes! I know this is probably not what you'd imagine wearing on Valentines Day, but I couldnt wait to do this combination of colors. It was the first thing that popped into my head when I opened up my package and saw the colors!! There's a hint of bronzy gold and an amazing teal. I absolutely fell in love with Island Chic.

FOTD: Anniversary Dinner

Hello Dolls! Today I bring you a very special look. Today I'm celebrating my one year anniversary with my boyfriend and since we're going to a nice dinner I decided to doll up. I did a bronzy brown smoky eye with a hint of glitter, and a nude lip. Even though that may sound like a lot it came out somewhat of a natural smoky eye. I used this as an excuse to focus on my skin. A lot on contouring and highlighting and full coverage everything going on here.

First Impressions: MAC Archie's Girl Collection Lipsticks

Hello Dolls! As you may all have heard last week MAC released it's long anticipated Archie's Girls Spring Collection. Every since I was a young girl I've been a fan of the Archie comics and I couldn't pass on this collection at all. I managed to get my hands of five of the six lipsticks in the collection.
This collection was divided in two, since the makeup was based off of Betty and Veronica, there where equal amounts of lipstick for both. Half of the collection consisted of more natural, day time colors and the other half of more night time, dark and bright colors.
Since I only picked up the lipstick I am going to swatch these for you, and since I only recieved them yesterday I wont be doing a full review, only first impressions.

*This collection has already been released online, but it will be released at all MAC locations on Febuary 7th. This collection is limited edition.*

Packaging:
Like all MAC limited edition collections the packages for these product have a little something special. And that little something special is that the packages are completely redone. The outer packaging is a white box, in change of the regular black, with the Archie's Girls logo. It pictures Betty, Archie and Veronica with the mac logo underneath, all of which are surrounded by little red hearts. Perfect for valentines day.
The actual lipstick packaging is just as cute. The lipstick still comes in the bullet tube but the tube is also white, with a gloss finish. The MAC logo is placed on the lid, in the bottom portion of the lid it has the picture of either Veronica or Betty. This corresponds with the lipstick color and who it represents.
I am absolutely a sucker for cute packaging and MAC went all out for this collection.

Review: MAC Lip Mix in Blue

Hello Dolls! Like I promised in last night FOTD today I have a review for MAC's Lip Mix. I'm a sucker for crazy lip colors so I was super intrigued when I saw a follower on instagram rocking this shade.
Packaging:
The packaging for this lipstick is just like every other MAC Lipstick/Product. It comes in black box that feels like a combination of cardboardand card stock embossed with white script. It is very sturdy, and that is especially necessary for a product like this. The product itself is in a plastic squeeze tube, and definitely needs some had exterior to protect it from damage during shipping.

Review: Tarte Glamazon Pure Performance 12 Hour Lipstick in Playfull

Hey Dolls! A couple of days ago I was out with my best friend and we stopped at a local Ulta. I wasn't planning on purchasing anything but Tarte sucked me in. For a while I've been lusting for a Tarte lipstick since I've heard how amazing they are.

At $26 for .07 oz of product this is a huge investment. I decided to take the plunge and bought one that I knew I'd wear often since at almost thirty dollars I wasn't going to dare buy something I would never wear.

Packaging:
The lipstick comes in a small pink box with a pattern that resembles the package of the actual lipstick. The packaging for the actual lipstick is beautiful. It is a strong bamboo with an almost tribal design in the same color of the actual lipstick. This is a plus since it allows you to see which lip color is which. The only downside to this packaging is that the tube is rather long and makes it seem like you get more product than you actually do.

Kate Moss for Rimmel London Limited Edition Long Lasting Finish Lipstick #4 Swatch

Hello lovelies!Today I took a little trip to Target to purchase some Tea Tree Oil, and like always I took a little pit stop to the make up department. I rarely look at Rimmel products, but today I decided to take a peek to see if I could find anything nice. And I bumped into Kate Moss' Rimmel London Long Lasting Finish Lipstick collection. I had heard a lot about this collection, but never paid much attention to the hype. The colors didn't really attract my attention, except for one entitled number #4.
It's a deep plum almost true purple. I can't believe I found a color like this at the drug store. The only places I ever see a deep purple like this is a high end counters. But, I'll stop talking and let you take a look!

First of all let's take a look at this super slick packaging. I excepted such chic-ness from someone like Kate. I love the slick black almost leather-black packaging.
